CC is going out of business (or mostly going out of business).
They are closing 155 stores and are facing immanent bankruptcy.
Many manufacturers (at least Sony) have canceled shipments to CC because they are afraid that CC will declare bankruptcy and the manufacturers will lose money.
Chase has probably caught wind of this and is canceling the program so they don't get caught up in CC's problems also.
Chase is worried that Circuit City will be going bankrupt.. Circuit City is batting you. AT&T tried this with me when I applied for high speed internet for an on line only deal. I called them and stuck to my guns and got my deal. In this case Circuit City is using time which is running out for you. Call them, like I did with AT&T and tell them (not ask) that you want the 36 months just like you read about on your computer. Do not let them get over on you and you will get your deal. One thing of note, many companies will not approve long waiting periods for people with credit scores under 737 or something very close to that figure. I got my Sunday paper and looked at the add to find a great deal on a new TV that I have been wanting to buy for sometime now, and there is a deal of no interest for 36 months on the TV if I sign up and use a Circuit City Credit Card (from Chase). So I went to do it online, I was going to just purchase it online and then pickup later in store, and it promises a instant answer for credit approval online. I filled out the application and it gave me a message saying Chase could not process at the time and I would get a written response within 30 days. The deal on the TV ends at the end of the week and that's a bummer. I have great credit, and have had a chase card myself that I got a while back, I have no fear of being approved, it's just a time factor for me, I have searched for answers, I'm just not sure what I should do or if I can do anything.xconnect xbox
