My Dear, first you may go to your bank and putup an application saying that due to some personal rasons you wish to transfer your account from so and so branch to the new banks name.................... please surrender the cheque books, if you have, alongwith the pass book, ATM Card etc, definitely they will transfer your account to the new Bank, but it will take some time at least 15 days (but remember that if the banks are same it is possible easily, if it is anoher bank they will ask to open a new account. then surrender the previous account and open a new account in the new place. very simple. understnd OK I have my bank seat in an area but now is too far and I want to change it and move it in another area. How??? Hiya!!!! If the bank is the same u dont have to change it!!!! U need to comunicate to it u r changing address and the bank will do everything, its quite easy not like in Italy!!!!
Love, Eli Just go to the closest bank and they will be glad to help you. Banks do not do this in the UK. If you move areas you just give your local bank your new address and they will send your statements there. All banks are centralised so you can phone anyone up for a query. I have recently moved and this is the way it works.
I presume you want to stay with the same bank but have moved to another area!. find the new bank, tell them you want to transfer your assets over. they will either have you write a check to them or they will give you transfer paperwork to sign and they will get the money over for you. if you bank at a brokerage house be aware you will be charged fees for transferring. It's best to write a check or have them cut you a check for the amount in the account. make sure you get it all including interest and dividends. good luck.cause cupping tire
